Day T+ 31 and counting.
Boone is much better this AM. Sleeping peacefully. All vitals looking good. He is no longer has the mask, just the nose hose. They are delivering about half as much O2 as yesterday and he's holding his oxygen level in the upper 90s.
They are going to drain both lungs this afternoon.

Again, so thankful he has you. Praying for you both. Keep up the good work. Sounds like deep in his mind he is scared most of the time. I'm glad you can calm him down. Thanks for the blog.

My silence is thinking and prayer. This is a valley where the battle takes place. Goodness, he is putting up a battle even though his thoughts are garbled. Now is165 the time when you think for him.

Great news! Tell him to keep fighting through it all. I am very glad he is doing better. Let's hope he just keeps progressing in the right direction. Regardless of how small the steps seem to us, they are huge mountains to climb for him and every victory should be celebrated.
