I forgot to mention...
Boone has, as best I understand it, totally engrafted. His white count is approaching 3, and he has a neutrophil count of almost 2! ( I believe those are # x 10 to the 9th power. Try typing in math on blogger....yikes!) He is still low on the platelet count but all the other umpteen counts are looking good.
Dr F. said his chimerism is at 99%. The only way I can explain that is like a Vulcan mind meld; the donor and the recipient's DNA have become happy together.

This is such Great news. Maybe we can start to relax. I have been a nervous wreak with worry and I know you, H and others have been though much more than me.

Okay Gang, He still has a long road ahead of him so let's get back to seriously walking and prayer without ceasing. Boone, Keep on doing the heavy lifting, Pauline, keep on propping him up and all the others in his vicinity keep on keeping on. 'Come on everybody.
Yep long road ahead and am always praying but humor seems to help us cope and has always been a family bond with us.

Yes, I understand. When I first knew of Boone, he joked about some elder relative, I callled him on it and found out that he actually loved Senior Citizens and meant no harm. I saw how gentle he was with Pauline's Daddy but still made all of us laugh during a very hard time. His humor was all that got us through some days. I can't wait to hear him describe what he is going through now... and he will in due time!
