Had my breakfast sitting up at the table in the room and then set up for another couple of hours. Dr. F. just came by with the updated plan. I'm still having issues with the Billy-ribbon (That's how you say it. No idea how you spell it.). The output from the liver. So tomorrow I will have a liver biopsy where-in they run a tube down through a neck vein to the liver and collect a sample. He says you are sedated like for a colonoscopy so I OK with it. I plan to ask for as much sedation as possible. Might as well get as much as I can out of the field trip.
Dr. noted that I will be getting blood and platelets tonight to prep for the biopsy. It didn't surprise me at all when after he left Nurse R pointed out that "tonight" means wee hours of the morning. I've gotten used to that and would be a total night owl again if not the Dr. rounds and meds that happen first thing in the morning.
Nothing else to tell except I'm still having headache issues from the photopheresis. I'll post later if something exciting occurs. Don't hold your breath.

My journey through Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia. Or "How to Cure Psoriasis the Hard Way."
This is Pauline, Boone's wife. Every year on or near his birthday, he has his annual physical. His doctor told him that he had "Immature blood cells" and referred him to a hemotologist. To Boone's great surprise when he arrived for the appointment, the hemotologist was an oncologist. They drew blood and the Oncologist, Dr. K, wanted to know why I was not with him. Next visit he said, I better be there. A month later, we went to the appointment. Blood was drawn. Dr. K. said it could be a couple of things, and ordered a bone marrow biopsy. On the 3rd month, we heard the diagnosis of CMML.

Sitting at the table, such a treat. Headache? Remember the sunglasses. Cool cloth on your brow?
Okay, gang, prayer time. May the tests on the liver be positive.
Boone,
I'm sending positive thoughts your way. Good luck with the liver test. Today is my day off so far I've spent the day sitting in front of the AC unit (its 102 degrees here)and reading a book called Across the Chasm. Its about a BMT written by a caregiver. I couldn't put it down and ended up reading the whole thing. Now Jeremy is reading it. I'm going to visit my friend bud and then fire up the grill.......I love a good BBQ....How about you? Amanda
OK Big Brother, I got 1 word for you SUNGLASSES!! I recall the nurse saying 24 hours....
Love you
